So with the basemaps here down, I got one from haltech.

E8 for the FD.


But my question was just the timing around 1000-1500rpms. Just wondering why it goes retarded there. I dont have the stock base e8 from here, but i have the 850cc/1600cc and I was comparing the ign side.

the base maps here obviously differ from the rpm points, but the timing looks completely different.


Can someone explain this to me?


on that same note, does anyone have the e8 stock 13brew map?

 

The tooth offset is wrong.
The coil charge time is pretty high. I'd start at 5 mS with the LSx coils and see how they work.
Check that the injector current settings match you injectors.
The leading timing is weird. No idea why they have it retarded so badly.

 

thats what they sent me. i modded it to settings posted here and locked the timing. my offset if 11 and im doing 5ms.

thing starts just does not wanna rev or budge other then idle. timing is locked on. was just wondering why they would retard that much.
