Can I get rid of my factory harness?

I bought a haltech f9 and didn't know it was just a fuel controller or do I have to merge it with my factory harness

Need to do a parallel install. Probably trigger the F9 with one of the ignition outputs and just use it to control fuel.

What are your goals? Might not even be worth the time and effort of installing it.

While the F9 is a lot more functional than an SAFC, I gotta agree that I wouldn't waste my time with it. The E6K was a decent box, but stone ax is a great analogy. Don't waste any of your money on an E6X.

I was considering the Adaptronic e420d or the Sprint Re since my setup will be basic.
I have experience with Haltech so I'll probably go that route but anyone on a budget shouldn't jump past the Adaptronic.

Hey Ludwig, I asked you years ago about an E8 harness, but what's your going rate now for a Sprint RE harness using stock FC coils and CAS?

You'll be fine, lots of people use e6x. I think it was trigger interference issues with some users?

I bought mine locally brand new for $1100, but it came with a sr20 patch. I asked Haltech and they said they would give me a new universal harness in exchange so I'm happy
