BAC Valve and AC

I'm leaving in my A/C and was advised to leave in the BAC so it'll idle correctly when the A/C is on. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this? SHould I rewire and plumb it per the Haltech Manual?

I'm looking for the same answer

I don't think I have seen an answer on this yet. I guess not everyone is clear on it. I have heard of people turning the idle up to handle the load of the compressor but that is just riggin it. I want to turn the AC on and it automatically raises the idle. How do you do it guys.

BAC is not hard to wire up ... what answer are you looking for? There are parameters for raising the idle with the AC on.

Spyfish,
Do you wire it up just like it shows in the Haltech Manual? Do I just run the hose so it spans the plates in the throttle body?

Here's what I've got so far.
Wire up the BAC as shown in the Haltech Manual. Use one of the PWM's to sense the A/C so it can step up the Idle if the A/C on. Is this correct? If so Does anyone have any details on Wiring up the PWM?

There is nothing to hook up but wires with the BAC ... you already have on on your car. It is located on your manifold next to your throttle body-back side right next to your throttle position sensor. You supply one side +12V and the other one the PWM output. You connect the factory AC relay wire to the PWM output as well. Do you have a shop manual for factory wiring colors?

I'll have a look at the manual tonight. This is for a second gen btw.
By hooking the AC relay to the PWM does it step up the idle when the car is idleing or does it just cut out the AC?
