Advice on which ecu to purchase 1000vs1500

Hey guys I will be purchasing a haltech once my engine is rebuilt as my power fc cost me my last one and I dont want that to happen again. I've spoken with a few different dealers and each one has given me a different opinion on which ecu I need ranging from the 1000 up to a 2500.

My budget isn't really the concern but I'd rather not spend money for features I will never touch. My car is a pretty basic street car and I have no real aspirations for it to get too rowdy. My set up is as follows:
Stock port REW
550pri (would consider putting in the 850 stock secondaries in the primary rail maybe)
2200 bosch secondaries
single T04R .96 turbo
ign1a currently running wastespark but will be changing that to direct fire
RA super seals
Aeromotive 320lph
43.5 base pressure

I would like to target about 12-14psi while keeping the stock 2 stage injection. I have no interest in EVER going above 450whp in this car, and if I did decide to push a bit more that my injectors wouldn't handle I'd switch to meth or e85 before adding a second set of secondaries. I am trying to keep it simple and reliable. Can anyone recommend whether I should purchase the 1000, or the 1500?

are you gong to use the BAC valve? AC? Emission controls? boost control? Metering pump? drive by wire?

would you like to log fuel pressure? EGT?

Hey I may some day hook the AC up, possibly the boost control but otherwise no all that has been deleted. I don't think I would log fuel pressure and definitely not egt, but may do fuel pressure some day.

the difference between the ECU's is the ability to do that stuff

The only thing in your list that the 1500 can do that the 1000 can do is DBW. Stepper motor control is available for both and would depend on how many outputs you've tasked. As far as EGT, both need the same box for expansion to support it.

To the OP, you'll need to design on paper a bit more to figure out how many ins/outs you may need (the 1500 has marginally more) and how you'd like to configure it before you can get an informed answer to that.

Just finished my 1500 install, pretty much completely filled with inputs, with maybe 1 or 2 spare outputs, no dbw, only reason i got 1500 was possiblity of dbw down the road
