Update regarding Chase QuickPay
Hi all,
I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, but it looks like Chase QuickPay will not work except if the buying party has a Chase checking account already. I just got off the phone with them and while I was planning on being the party with the checking account, it seems that both the lack of branches in my area and the fees they charge for the checking account itself make it too costly/impractical for my needs.
If you already have a Paypal account please use that for payment and I'll take the fee hit. If mailing a check isn't a problem for you, I'd still prefer that over Paypal.

Widefoot Mounts pickup from Anodize Wednesday 8/20
Hi all,
I'm getting the mount blocks back from anodize this Wednesday, and will start inserting helicoils and kitting the hardware that day. The first sets of mounts will ship this week, I'll email those who are getting them with tracking info.
I've also ordered material for the bronze bushing mounts, which I'll get on Wednesday (busy day!). Machining will start this week, should get them out for anodize by middle of next week. So those that ordered mounts and bushing sets will not have to wait too much longer.

I can haz Widefoot Mount parts!
Hi all,
I just returned from picking up 77 Widefoot mount bodies, had some more that were not yet anodized that I'll get later. So I can start inserting/kitting/shipping this week. Those of you just getting mounts will get tracking info emailed to you as your sets get shipped.
I do have to get more radiator support plate powder coated, but that's a relatively quick process, so remaining Widefoot mount only kits will ship next week.
I also got the aluminum for the Bronze Bushing mounts, will start machining them tomorrow. They'll need anodizing too, as well as modified bronze bearings and a few more things, but I'll be pushing hard to get them ready asap.

Mazderati has it - the support plate is made from 1/8" 6061-T6 aluminum, and allows the two pins on the bottom of the stock radiator to be located/held as per the OEM mount. It's part of the kit, the only time there's a charge is when someone needs a custom version due to non-stock radiator. I do issue a credit if there's no need for the plates (totally custom mounting of the radiator), but I generally recommend getting them anyway, as the 1/8" thickness is calculated into the stack height of the mount. And they spread the load a little too.

Hi non-stock IC guys,
Sure, if you just need a plate to provide the designed swaybar bushing support and distance, I can provide a specific plate that's only a spacer/load spreader. As I have to get parts powder coated anyway, I should be able to have these parts done too as long as I know how many I should make. If anyone needs spacers rather than Radiator Support Plates, please email me to confirm, and make sure to mention your RX7Club name so I can keep my records straight.
The spacers will be 3/16" thick, just a little extra mass to ensure stiffness of the smaller area. If you are ordering the Bronze Bushing Mounts too, please say so and I can make a custom mount for you incorporating the extra 1/8".

Tri-Point swaybar clarification
Hi foofuklei,
Thanks. I'm going to address this here so everyone can use the info, rather than PMing it. What I'm saying is similar to a previous PM that's already gone to one of the GB members.
Some of the Tri-Point 3pc swaybar setups use a commercially produced cushioned bronze bushing (CBB) , which has mounting ears made from bent/welded steel straps. As the mounting slots for this bushing are not identical to the spacing of the two 8mm bolts that retain the "OEM style" rubber bushings for the stock swaybar, T-P uses a welded steel brace that attaches to the stock mount height, then has a tab that reaches out to another chassis location, and along this tab they have an additional mounting point for the second bolt that holds the CBB in place. There's three consequences to this:
1) The CBB projects even lower than a OEM swaybar setup, closer to the ground by the added thickness of the brace material and due to its relatively large outside diameter (compared to the stock swaybar bushing and retaining clamp).
2) There's additional downward flexibility in their system due to the mounting method of the CBB and brace.
3) These parts won't work with my Widefoot Mounts without a spacer due to the T-P brace geometry mandating that the mounting surface for the bar be at the OEM location. My mounts raise the swaybar up by roughly 1.28" (~32mm) up away from the road surface which works well with stock-style single piece swaybars but does require spacers to add that distance back to the mounting surface if using something like the T-P CBB setup.
Note: None of this is said to bash Tri-Point, they made design decisions for their own reasons, as does everybody who has ever made a car/bike/whatever part.
My Widefoot Mounts are shorter because when I designed them I wanted to make sure they were stiff and would help prevent damage to the car by raising the front swaybar away from the road, preventing impact damage to the mounts or chassis. Being shorter both stiffens the mounts, reduces leverage acting on the car's 10mm chassis mounting points, and raises the swaybar above the engine cradle (a very robust part). With the addition of the Widefoot "built-in" brace, it creates a very strong/stiff mount for a front swaybar.
So if you're running a 3pc swaybar, and are not planning on getting my version of the bronze bushing mount (which addresses the previously described issues), then you'll either need thick spacers or OEM style poly bushings and clamp, not the CBB. I can make thick spacers to work with either stock or V-mount radiator locations, just let me know what you need.
Please remember that my mounts are very stiff and strong, and if you go over a curb or road debris with the swaybar as the lowest element at the front of the car then any impact loads are transmitted to the car chassis - my mounts won't collapse like stock mounts.

First sets of mounts will ship tomorrow after a some hardware is delivered. It's taken a lot longer than I (or anyone) wanted, but almost there. There's a commitment I make to quality that sometimes costs me more time than I'd like, as part of that means I'm the person who makes all the parts, assembles, packs and ships them.
After this first group goes out there'll be a short delay while new radiator mount plate are powder coated. I'm trying a local place for the first time, need to make sure they meet my standars before committing to them. When those parts are in the rest of the "mount only" packages will ship. I start machining of the 3pc swaybar Bronze Bushing Mount parts this weekend, this will take a little time but will be done ASAP. If you haven't yet told me of any special requirements (V-mount, etc.) please do so now!
