Vulcan Autoworx Sleepy Eye Kit
Hopefully this will be available soon!
Might I suggest a plug and play option with the parts that need to be modded/cut all ready to bolt in? Would love to see some more pics as well, especially on a black FD.

I've been following Superdan's lights from the beginning and even though he is a cool guy, maybe it is time for him to partner up with someone who has the time to take his project into fruition.
I hope Dan gets this done. The last I spoke with him (about 4 months ago) he had solved the headlight shroud problem. The shrouds he made off a mold of mine had some fitment issues and Dan wanted to fix this. His proposed solution to this seemed like a really good idea and one that would work. That's the last I've heard.
I know he had the brackets ready to go and all the lighting components, it was just the fitment of the shrouds that remained. He was also working with Shine on this so I'd think he had the right guys involved.
Here is hoping for a positive update from Dan

Thanks for the update Mr. Hayes
As for all the people crying for updates, this project has and continues to be an evolving project. If you can't keep a positive attitude about the development how will you react to doing the mod if you catch a snag once you receive the product?
Just an opinion, keep it classy

So are these making their debut at Sevenstock?! That would be AWESOME!!! Is that why there haven't been any updates? Waiting for the big reveal?!
I'm not counting on it - but I'd love to be proven wrong.
So am I still an ******* for "not being patient"? I mean, it's been another, 4? 5? months since:
It's just like I said earlier, another "Just one more thing, then..."
I would really like to see these happen, but, after 5 years of this same old story...
David - why don't you enlist someone else to replicate these? Nothing gets people moving like competition. Perhaps someone with more experience can have a prototype out before we get our next update from Dan.

These are the only pictures I have on me. I will try to get some more tonight if I remember.
I will be sending off the new shroud to Peter, one of my previous test customers. Since he has the kit installed it won't take him long to verify fitment.
Assuming the fitment is what I think it will be, I'll be able to knock out the second shroud and no time. Some of the modifications I have made to this design include...
Slightly larger openings for the headlights, this should offer a little bit more adjustability. However I may make them a little bit smaller before final production if the fitment results allow me to do so.
Additionally the shroud what is trimmed down to almost nothing, and then I grafted it into a modified version of the stock shroud. This should eliminate fitment issues on the upper edge of the shroudwhere it meets the headlight cover. As well as the lower part where it meets the bumper.

just to clarify, the pic of the new one is while it was in a rough install. I hope it goes without say, but if it does not... the final pieces will have a smooth finish, likely primed.
again it is extremely unlikely that there will be a carbon option. with the different curves of the piece it is very difficult to get the weave to lay in an appealing manner. and therefore it is likely that only 1 in 5 will look right. this creates too great of an increase in the price of the ones that are sellable (basically 6+ times the cost of fiberglass).
if shine says they are doable in carbon i will revise. but i wouldn't hold my breath.

I sent off a shroud for test fitting, when i get the fitment results, i can wrap it up. then I will send them off for a final fitment. then molds, and production
