And I also just thought of another thing while typing this, the cdn funds I received from quaife are also worth less now compared to USD(13 year low), so even If I split it fairly amongst 33 of us you will all receive a lower amount. It really sucks I wish it was the other way around, we could have made money! but I guess that is why im not a currency trader and I own a FD! I hope that is fair to all and I will provide any transactions or deposits information to who wants to see them. Hmm, also good point. Does anyone reading this have experience with the Grannas? They must have sold it to somebody...

And while I'm actually paying attention to this thread - 0piston (and everyone else who helped you), thanks for your very significant and impressive efforts to try and make this happen. You are obviously a straight-up guy and I personally have no concerns whatsoever getting a bit less back due to currency fluctuation and would be willing to chip in to compensate you for your troubles. It isn't much but take another $20 out of my share and keep it.

Thanks so much primergrey! Don't worry thanks about the offer! but I still feel bad about how this didn't materialize. Yeah It was a headache to get this all organized, if I would have known about all the transactions that had to change hands and organization and tracking of payments and time involved answering pms I wouldn't have done it. I had all the best intentions to make it happen and wanted to make it successful contribution but I guess having a manual isn't for everyone. But I have to thank a lot of people here, especially Spalato for helping organize things and having the perspective on emailing quaife questions that I didn't think of asking. Really is a great community, and I have been here since day 1.

Also I just sent all the Refunds out, ran through all the transactions and total back to each person was
167.11CAD 1.67pp fee 165.46CAD back - the pp fee.

Green Lotus, for some reason I cannot send you any money please send me another pp address? "This recipient is currently unable to receive money."

Thanks for the effort and trying to get this done!

Still no chance to get a full rack kit going since they have a rack in hand?

Judging by 0piston and spalato's posts, it seems that even if there is a chance, they'd definitely want someone else to set it up.

0piston, thank you for all the work. You did your best to make this happen. Even if it didn't materialize I'm glad that we at least tried.

And thanks to all the people who got in on this GB, eventhough it didn't go through.

Definitely a shame this couldn't materialize. I think the full rack option would have been the best way to go anyhow, even with the increase in cost. I'm sure that if forums weren't dead these days (unlike that useless FB group that has nothing but constant trolls) then this group buy could have worked.

Just read through this after looking for some more info on quicker ratio steering racks. I have to say this seems like it has to be the most ideal and civilized failure a group buy could experience haha. Well handled buy the organizers; such a shame it didn't work out.

Also, don't know if there's any hope/chance of revisiting this with Quaife but maybe the renewed interest in FDs these days would bode well for it. Pretty sure I know a few guys that would be in for a Quaife rack.
