I'll get on that for you now. I was mainly doing a US group by and didn't even think about it internationally or our foreign members on here. I'll be sure to try to get something to fit you guys as well

As I've forwarded the above questions from our German member, this reply came through about payment and seat production.
"Hi Christian
We can do payments in a couple of ways, the first is through Paypal, but if you do please do so under the family and friends transfer because if you were to do it under payment there is a 6% charge Paypal will charge me and I did not calculate that into the current price. If you do it this way individual payment would be the easiest as I would have record of all the addresses I need to send seats to.
Another way is to do a bank transfer. For this I prefer a lump sum and a list of description on what seats people want. Il print their order and addresses straight away so i can keep track on what people want.
Please advice everybody that there is a waiting period for manufacturing. ETA presently is either the1st or 2nd week of March. If there are changes I will let you guys know. I think we are approaching some public holiday days soon.
Thanks for your effort once more Christian"

They look fantastic. You can't tell the difference at all between original OEM and the replica.
2 questions:
Has Angry Panda adjusted the construction according to the small things the reviewer has encountered?
I'm also an international request. Im in Canada.
I think this group buy might actually happen.
I might need till the end of March if not the next month to get finances in order.
Thanks for doing this

I think it's safe for me to assume, that a hand full of you may want some time to procure the funds? I mean no disrespect, but I want to make sure that if I get 10 -15 completely committed, they can legitimately pull the trigger on the funds. I would hate to have this fall apart and leave more than half the guys on here go without seats because a few others were just "interested" just to be subscribed. I'm awaiting for the representative that I've been talking to to respond to our questions and we can go from there!
PigLet, is it safe for me to assume that you are in for this if the seat is in fact the same Height or Lower?

Everything depends on the response of the main guy.
And yes, will need some time for funding.
I definitely want to know the small things encountered on that other thread have been dealt with.
I'm eagerly awaiting the response to that email.

Sorry, I fell asleep last night. Ok as far as the tilting mechanism goes, all problems are rectified, the tilter is now solid. The oem seatbbelt buckle must be used and can be moved tobthe new rail, its a little shorter than genuine oem seat belt, but still useable none the less.
Shipping to Germany shold be about the same.

Here you go...
Christian
Il write you a proper email tonight, Im still at work atm....... but yes, everything comes in seperate packaging now, the reason we could do shipping at such a low price is because instead of sending 1 big box, we send them into 3 seperate shipment. So im terms of packaging no parts should touch each other now.
The rails and seats retain OEM geometry .

I intended to add that these seats are reverse engineered from the spirit R, meaning if the spirit R seat allows more headroom, these should aswell. Maybe we can ask grand mighty or Alex Rodriquez about this?

I received the following from a member on this forum who has already purchased the seat set. He was able to answer the following questions:
<Are the seats comfortable?>>
Sure. I mean, as far as fixed back seats go - yeah. They aren't luxury items and the tilt give them a cool feel.
<<Does it provide any additional head room?
How tall are you?>>
I'm average size. 5'10" on a good day. The seats give much more head room and the tilt also helps. I bet you could fit with helmet.

To fit in the recaros comfortably you really want to be sub 180lbs, and shorter than 6"3'. If you have shorter legs / long torso you'll want to be shorter than 6"2' as there will be no room for your helmet and you'll have your head on an angle for the whole stint
Depending on your body shape its pretty hard to sit in there with a helmet on.

I have sent him an email regarding the fabric and embroidery removal. Here is his reponse on on financial specifics:
I will be sure to post his reply about the fabric and stitching removal, as well as anything else he includes!
Hi Christian
I apologize about earlier, was at work when you emailed me earlier.
OK, so as far as the deadline goes, we can make whenever you are ready, to be honest if we can make the cut off point on say 10 days that would work out perfectly. The factory is going towards a public holiday period which may slow down production, so if we move the cut off point forward, you guys can have further discount and I have a little more time for production as it wont land on the holiday period. Let me know what you think about this....... if we can hit the magic number of 25, than I can give you guys the maximum discount of a total of 15%. Which brings each pair of seats to be USD$1880 delivered. I can bring this number lower if we are willing to do sea freight, which will take a little longer to arrive but, yeah, cheaper.
Production period is about 4 - 6 weeks, so say we managed to get all the payments organized, we will start the manufacturing process the next working day. I will need a list on colour preferences and delivery addresses of each buyer for this. I know I am setting quite a long period of time for production, but Id rather be early than late if you know what I mean.
I have attached some pictures of the seats installed......
Let me know your thoughts
