Up....
We are planning on testing three cars at VIR next weekend with our brake package, each with different rear brake setups. Stay tuned for the results. If all goes well we will open the GB!

As soon as we officially release the track kit I can provide more details on our street kit. What I can say is that it will use large monoblock calipers (not made by ap though), will be available with an upcoming rear setup, will be priced much lower than our track setup, and will do well with mild track use and aggressive street/backroads/autox use.

A shot of the brakes on Jhnrx7's car and my car at VIR. Unfortunately we were unable to test
I'm going to take the hats and brackets to get hard anodized after the holiday weekend.

The hats and brackets are going to be hard anodized early next week, they only do hard anodizing once every 7 to 10 days. we'll be PMing everyone on the interest list once we open the GB in a few days

Just wanted to add that I looked the kit over when I was at VIR with John and Dan and it's a nicely engineered setup (beefy thick pads and rotors along with beautifully machined hats and brackets) with nothing but improvements over every other off the shelf kit available for this car. The only reason I did not test them is because of pad size. I wanted a pad that completely covered the rotor surface.
Endless and I think Hawk also make the correct pad shape and I'm in contact with PFC to see if they have or can make the right pad.
As a side note this exact kit is on a friends STI (heavy car) that laps VIR in the 2.12 range (not too shabby) and after several weekends of use the rotors showed very little wear and over the years with various kits I've had endless problems with rotors cracking etc... so I'm looking forward to the improved durability this kit should provide.

There is a short annulus and tall annulus version of the pad. Endless makes both versions. RCP105 is the tall RD version, and RCP142 is the short RD version.
Hawk and Ferodo do make the tall annulus version. Not sure about PFC.

Everything is back from hard anodizing and our brake lines finally arrived from our manufacturer... Dan's doing some product shots this weekend and we'll try to get the GB thread up shortly.
Thanks for your interest and support in our development process! Without you all we wouldn't exist.
In other news our fire extinguisher mount prototype should be done in the next couple weeks as well, so we've got some fun track parts on the way (and a few others coming down the pike as well).

We're still a couple months out on the rears.
In a few days we'll have the official GB up for the AP competition fronts. We just got our hats and caliper brackets back from hard anodizing, so we're nearly ready to roll.
-Heath
PS for fun here's a similar AP setup (on an evo however) being put through the paces. Notice the heat dissipation on the rotors... the cooling vanes on the AP competition discs are VERY effective http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=ZSv8JNvjVsA
