I have not posted prices yet because this is a "interest thread" to see if people like the idea and its against forum rules for me to sell things without a vendor/group buy license.

The design is pretty close to finalized so I am beginning to get quotes on materials/machining incase there are too many to make myself. I expect within the next week to have the design finalized and and figure out how much they will cost to produce.

save some weight on the waterjet parts just add some holes... not too big that it effects structural strength

 

ill take the OE dead pedal cover and also the 2 version of the gas pedal. OEM style and wide foot style

 

Here's a little teaser picture, tonight I attached the dead pedal cover. I found some nice torx drive plastite screws. Also I machined a new gas pedal and wide gas pedal. Im on my phone right now, in the morning I will install the dead pedal and mock up the gas pedal so we can see them along side of the clutch and break pedal.

 

Are threaded inserts overkill for mounting the dead pedal cover? I recently fell in love with rivnuts...

 

Hahaha oh that gif is great! I agree rivnuts are awesome! I did not use threaded inserts, just a screw specifically designed for plastic. They seem to grab pretty tight even though the dead pedal is only ~0.100" thick

I totally misread your post. Threaded inserts definitely arent overkill and I can totally send you a deadpedal cover drilled for whatever size rivnuts you want to use

I didnt get pictures of the pedals in the car, im slacking I know! I picked up a DA sander and messed with my air compresser all afternoon trying to get some body work done on the FD. Since I didnt post the promised pics here is another teaser pic!
