Exclamation *Official* Arrowhead lighting v1.1 led tails group buy

Arrowhead lighting v1.1 led tails

This will be a send in service I can only accept unmodified usdm tails or 99+ tails.

These are the new and improved version of the famous Theorie taillight. The diffused rings use the OEM diffuser and each ring assembly is contained in their own polycarbonate housing. Running lights use 48 smd leds packed on a single ring. This was done to create a smooth glow without having the need of a second diffuser which results in a much brighter running light. Brake and turn are OEM leds used in many cars today to achieve the correct level of brightness.

Full led setup will need the turn signal flasher modified to correct hyper flashing. Modification can be found here.
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...ht-way-943516/

What included:
-Full polish
-retrofitted led tails
-resealed with new butyl

This group buy is going to be very small I can only accept 5 orders. These are very labor intensive and 90% of it consists of hand soldering of the components so I can only do a small group at a time.

Price:
Option 1.$800-full led retrofit
Option 2.$700-led run-brake/standard bulb turn (turn signal will still be a diffused circle)
Subtract $50 for 99 spec tails sent in.

There will be more group buys I just have to make them small so I don't get backed up.

Have some questions that another member asked that you guys may want to know.

1) Where do I send them? Will send address via p.m.
2) What's the turn around time? Right now it will be about 1.5 weeks
3) What's the "guarantee" on these? LED dies. Lights fog up. Whatever else that can happen. 2 year warranty on failed components. Although I do reseal them with new butyl I can't warranty fogging as I can't determine condition of the gaskets on bulb sockets.
4) You have examples of full LED vs incandescent turn? I will make a comparison here soom, I have to convert a set of tails first.
5) Is there an option for all incandescent diffused lights? Not at this moment
6) When's the next run? Unknown at this time.

Just to clarify what you mean by unmodified:

If you have lights that are converted to the 99 spec look, would that be acceptable?

Thanks,
Vince

Unless you followed theorie's conversion guide to the T I can't accept them.

Very nice! Were you able to take the faded tail light and make it like new ? I think that is what one of your pics in the first post showed but just wanted to clarify.

If so I suggest you offer that as a service as well. I know a lot of people that have faded tails that would love to have them like new again.

Good luck with the sales!

Correct, I was able to bring back the color to and almost pure black and it also took out all of the scratches. I have had a lot of request to offer it as a service so I may do it in the future.

Luckily, theorie is the one who converted my taillights

Thanks and this is a great looking product.

A little update. My voltage regulators are about two weeks out so that will be the soonest I can get a set of tails finished. I can do about 98% of the work without the regulators so If you guys want to send the lights in early feel free.

Looks light the group buy is starting off slow so I am offering free third brake light conversions for the first five people. I have also lowered the price because I was able to get some of the parts premade to cut down labor cost!

Can't believe more people haven't jumped on this. It's a great look with quality OEM components. It also takes a lot of work to make this happen.

Regarding the center light section, have you tried any of the COB LED strips as a retrofit? I am thinking an amber/red unit might work really well and be brighter than the stock unit.

So, what does the last post mean (2. mystery buyer/1-50)? Someone has secured the first 50 sets? Please explain...

Following this as a guideline: "name/option 1 or 2"

Sounds to me like is it an unnamed buyer... going with option one... "-50" because it's JDM lights (subtract $50 for 99 spec tails sent in.).

Just a guess.

The buyer wanted to remain anonymous. Option 1 meaning full led and -50 for using 99 spec tails.

Group buy is unofficially closed right now as a couple payments are pending. I will open up 5 more slots in about 3-4 weeks and I will be accepting people who want to get in early. The second group buy will not include the third brake light. I will update pricing on the third brake light in the next day or two.
