This is getting so incredibly frustrating

 

I'm a little shocked. I was looking forward to seeing this project come to fruition and possibly can in on a future group buy. Two to three months past the deadline is a little disheartening.

I hope it's some minor and the OP is okay. Hopefully he updates and follows through.

Sorry guys the tails took way longer than expected. I will not be holding anymore group buys for the tails since they take way too long to make in groups. I will probably only make a set a month and stick it up in the classifieds.

Everyones lights are done and have been shipped or awaiting a polish and will be shipped by Monday.

 

 

Anybody get their tails back yet and have some installed pics?

 

Most of the group have builds under wraps so I am not sure if or when they will post them.

 

I was one of the “unnamed” participants in the group buy but I thought I’d weigh in on the product as I have now received my modified tail lamps and have had a chance to try them out briefly.

Overall I am completely satisfied. The workmanship is first rate, and the modification seems really well thought out and carefully executed. The lights look great illuminated. The other thing is that the lens polish job worked wonders. My lamps had several fairly decent size scuffs and numerous small scratches on them originally. Now, they look fantastic. I was amazed that all the scratches were removed.

Any chance to send you only the middle (third) brake light for an LED swap?

 

Got my set put on the other day and I must say the craftsmanship is top notch, incredibly pleased with my set and 3rd brake light.

Have any other future LED lighting projects for the FD?

 

I have a lot of prototypes in the works nothing final yet. Between trying to get my webpage up for my products and school it is proving to be a very time consuming.

Looks like the interest is there. I am going to order parts and start premaking some assemblies. Will have the group buy up in a week or two.
