I haven't done the flasher mod yet so the blinkers are hyper flashing.

I can't give any real numbers yet as it is only an interest thread but it is not going to be cheap. There is a ton of labor that goes into these as most of it is hand soldered. I will have two options available one being a full led and another with standard signals to bring the cost down a little bit.

Like turboIIrotary has indicated, there is a lot of work that goes into the making of the taillights. His process is more labor intensive than what I did to mine and I'd say I have a solid 3/4 days of work into making mine.

So, expect a pretty hefty price on these. From what I have seen of his work and the components he's using, they will be quality and that is with a lot.

If you want to go the DIY route, then I've posted up some good instructions for you to follow. If you like electronics, it's kind of fun.

Should pretty much look like the 99 spec units. I you look closely you can see the inner ring of the led circles.

I still have a box in storage with dozens of sets of CNC-cut clear acrylic rings if you want them - sand them to your liking for the amount of desired diffusion. 80mm and 75mm rings, 1/4" thick.

Ordered, paid for, and received them for use in the V2 lights I created but was never able to bring to market.

Shoot me a PM if so.

In addition, the brightness is the best I have seen to date. Wicked bright. Just looking at them for a moment makes you see circles. Note the iPhone 6 camera pic can't adjust properly for the level of brightness. I am still going to compare it to one of the Audi style curvy DRL lights I have been working on, but this might be the way to go for me. I'll wire them up so when the turn signal is activated, the LED circles on that particular side turn off. Would match my taillights and could be cool.
+1 all the way !! If you make this thing happen Mr.Hayes
Please do a right up like you did for the tail lights
These LED turn signal are simply soooooo gorgeous !!

The only thing is the 99spec signals are hard to find. Depo use to make them but looks like they have discontinued.

Also a little birdy told me there are some switchbacks on the way.

^ I've never seen switchbacks that are bright enough to use as DRLs. You think there are some that would work? And do you mean someone is putting together a switchback 99 spec turn signal?

I will be getting switch back cobs in stock very soon. No one is making a 99spec switchback as far as I know.
