a few weeks and i might be caught up to doing more than just in shop work.

i've also been working on the lathe to try and cut the procedure down for making the fittings to reduce the cost of the complete new versions. it would be nice to not have to deal with the old banjos, i've already found a cheaper material base stock but setting up a cutter head hasn't worked out as well as i hoped to cut them into proper size discs. as once the discs are cut the rest goes quickly, reaming out the bores and centering them on a shaft to mill the ODs.

if i could make 25 or more banjos in an hour i could cut the price down to about $125 shipped and save the additional shipping/wait time hassle.

Sounds good RotaryEvolution, are you on backorder for a set, or do you currently have any ready to go?

none ready yet, i do have a bulk order for Goopy that i haven't quite gotten to yet so when i can get started i will let you guys know. once i start on one set i may as well do them all at the same time. right now i have about 8 cars to work on with several engine rebuilds.

most of the issue is the line i get is only found at a local hose shop, i do not order or stock it myself and sometimes they don't have all colors available(clear is randomly out of stock because the hose also works for brake and small hydraulic lines).

I'm in need of a set. I also have my fittings that can be sent if needed... Put me on the list for a black set when you start making them again since my car is down until I can get a set.

Thanks!

i will try to set aside some time to make a run of sets soon, until then i suppose you can send me PMs of the series/turbo or non/color you want them in and i will reply to them when i am ready. until then there won't be any responses as i already have about 150 PMs in my inbox and very limited time.

Thanks!

im getting set to make these again but they will be listed on the international marketplace, a little more generic but also a little less.

they wont have an outer protective layer but the aluminum and brass banjos will be part of the new lines. they should look pretty spiffy, soon as i can pull the specs off my retired computer's harddrive.

is there much interest in these still? i'd have to sell through ebay since i can't really afford to advertise on the site. seems pretty quiet out there these days as far as these cars go though. having to find new suppliers of mats and setting up jig engines for fitment so it'd have to be worthwhile.

I would have thought there would be interest in these but I feel people have gone away from forums and won't see this information. Te amount of stupid questions I see about RX8's, people have lost the abality to research outside of social media!
