As soon as the GB thread is up i will have my name all over it and a full deposit, just need your paypal and a final price in my PM box.

Touge kit with battery box/battery and hood dampers.

Been waiting too long to not go all out, especially on a high quality kit for a high quality price.

Thanks everyone.

Well to make it easy for me and everyone, it seems everyone will be ready in about 3 months.

I am going to LA next week, then I'll be back for one week and thats when I'll mock up the monster vmoount which has to slide under the top of the radiator support, but it lines up perfect with a duct to the front opening of the front bumper.

I will be in Canada for the last week in June to Mid July. Then I will finalize everything with all the little details and take more indepth photos.

I think I just may go with all steel brackets but have the option to have them powder coated what ever color you want but the 2 standard colors will be a shiny silver to match the aluminum for bling or flat black for a stock look.

Aluminum may be 100 more, but the powder coating on the steel may make it the same overall.

The real difference is for me. I can weld the steel one. but I have to send out the aluminum.

The steel is stronger too.

I have to make a full set in each to see what set is better, mount each set and see how it hold up to flex. Thats the only way to really tell.

The benifit of the aluminum brackets is that all the heat from the rad and i/c can be transferred a little easier to the frame. Better heat disapation.

So lets just say for us all to be ready in 2 to 3 months for everything to be finalized and for the GB to open up.

Hopefully I can have the money by the time the GB drops, but I am interested in the track kit. I may end up getting this, than rebuild the engine afterward.

I've wanted a quality vmount ever since I bought my FC. I definitely want to be in on this group buy. Looking great so far.

This is the first time I've checked out this build, I've been so curious to see what it's all about and thank god I did! The craftsmanship is just beautiful, and would be a great addition to my build. I would definitely be interested in the stock turbo set up!

Thanks. I put alot of time into it. I had some set backs but I finished it. I just want to make a kit that needs no modifications when you get it other then the occasional boring out of pre-drilled holes.

The stock turbo/airbox looks clean and unique. I really do not know anyone who would do it the hard way like me just so you can use the factory airbox with the vmount.

After seeing my finished product in person, I wanted to buy an FC so I could rock my kit too....lol

The monster vmount is BIG, I had to shoe horn it in but it fit. There is a straight shot from the top opening in the bumper to the bottom of the monster vmount. I will have brackets welded to the IC to attach one end of the duct. You will have to make your own front piece or once I get into it and I can find an easy attachment point I will supply that piece of duct in the kit.

Just remember guys I need to sell 5 kits to give the special GB pricing.

I need to have 7 sold to offer the vmount/battery/hood damper combo.

This will allow me to get a better discount so that I can pass it onto you guys.

Well time for bed, Have work in the morning.

Yeah, the a/c override is cool and the kit comes with good instructions. I will make an online installation guide which will be a step by step process. It will include tear down, installation, what needs relocation and wiring for the e-fan.

It looks like final pricing is this.

Standard list prices:
1. Vmount for stock turbo and airbox = $2000
2. Track/Touge Vmount = $2000
3. Monster Vmount = $2100
4. FC hood dampers = $155
5. FC mini battery kit = $275

For the Vmounts, everything included except for BOV, AST, and Filter for turbo. It comes with basic minimal ducting. It is your responsibility on the track and monster vmounts to get the I/C inlet pipe provided connected to your turbo.

NOTE:!!!!! I will need to know what color you want your steel brackets powder coated.
I will open a GB in the GB section, but this is what you can expect to see in 2 to 3 momths from now.

5 kits sold between the 3 types gets 100 off. Those of you with the additional 100 off can apply your extra 100 for being faithful to me. Thats 200 off total.

GB list prices: (must have 5 buyers)
1. Vmount for stock turbo and airbox = $1900, faithfull people $1800
2. Track/Touge Vmount = $1900, faithfull people $1800
3. Monster Vmount = $2000, faithfull people $1900
4. FC hood dampers = $140 (need 5 buyers)
5. FC mini battery kit = $250 (need 5 buyers)

Need 7 buyers (vmounts) for the following to work. Not all 7 have to be packages, just need 7 vmounts sold and anyone can have the package.

Package 1: You buy a vmount kit and get the battery kit for 240 or the hood dampers for 130
Package 2: You buy all 3 items and the battery kit becomes 220 and the hood dampers are 120.

So... Package 1

1. Vmount for stock turbo and airbox = $1900, battery = $240 total = $2140
faithfull people $2040
Vmount for stock turbo and airbox = $1900, hood damper = $130 total = $2030
faithfull people $1930

2. Track/Touge Vmount = $1900, battery = $240 total = $2140
faithfull people $2040
Track/Touge = $1900, hood damper = $130 total = $2030
faithfull people $1930

3. Monster Vmount = $2000, battery = $240 total = $2240
faithfull people $2140
Monster Vmount = $2000, hood damper = $130 total = $2130
faithfull people $2030

Package 2

1. Vmount for stock turbo and airbox = $1900, battery = $220, hood damper = $120
total = $2240
faithfull people $2140

2. Track/Touge Vmount = $1900, battery = $220, hood damper = $120
total = $2240
faithfull people $2140

3. Monster Vmount = $2000, battery = $220, hood damper = $120
total = $2340
faithfull people $2240

So this is what you guys gotta save up for.

Ben

I will start taking money once the GB is open in the GB section in about 2 months or so.

I still need to finish the monster vmount and finalize some things.

I do not want to be tempted to use any customers money to finish what I need to do, thats very bad.

Rule number one in business - use your own money for R&D not your customers.

Don't worry.

If you and speedoflife do get the vmount kit, I will find a way to make it up to you guys and anyone else. If you buy the kits, I will let you know whats up.

I will be fair to everyone.

Hint: Your shipping cost may be cheaper......

I have to try and make everyone happy.

I really gotta reward someone who waits over a year when there are a bunch of other vmounts that came out to chose from.

I just looked at the first post, it was sept of 09, man it will be 2 years later. Well at least I have legit set backs.

1. Finance 3 vmounts outta my own pocket and lose money re-making stuff...lol
2. Bought an FD with some of the saved money for hella cheap.
3. Just picked up a 1988 Mazda 323 gtx for 2k (500 of it is for registration)

Well I had to save myself to make these, but the last one is almost done. It is so much easier to copy things then to design them....lol

Once GB is closed it will take maybe 1.5 months to make all the kits. I have to order parts, send stuff out, I have to make some parts then there is the powder coating.

But the finished product will be worth it.

It's really a complete kit, all "3" of them!
