I don't like to do this...
The adjustable bolt on mine was too long, so I had to cut it with a dremel. Not the worst of tragedies though. However, it is completely off center from the brake master cylinder. I had to grind down my master cylinder flat just so it could be flush. If it were centered on the master, this would have been acceptable.
here it is installed:
The master normally has a rounded raised area in the center at the end. That is what I ground down.
A well made fine looking piece, but sorry, not worth the price tag.

Something is different on you car from all of our test vehicles. I just measured on my S5 and the adjustment bolt has 0.845" protruding from the brace. The nuts are 0.255" thick so the adjuster should stick out roughly the thickness of three and a half nuts. Yours looks like a little over two at best and thats after grinding down the tip.
It also looks like your MC is slightly more biased towards the drivers side of the car.
Here is a picture I just took on mine.
As you can see the adjustment screw is in the center and roughly the length of 3 and a half nuts.
I'm not trying to pass blame, simply trying to figure out what is different and why. This could simply be the difference between a reman and OEM MC, or what is more likely the difference between NA and Turbo.
Is the install is on your 87 TII?

Your picture kind of looks like what my master cylinder looked like before I ground it down. It has that little bump in the middle.
Now I'm baffled, I don't know why there is such a discrepancy.
I have an 87 TII, it didn't have ABS. This is, as far as I know, an OEM replacement, except I wound up getting an ABS cylinder. Either way it's still for the car but is really really weird that mine is off to the side. Perhaps my car is the oddball here??? My car was built march 1986, perhaps since it's such an early turbo model, this is the way they were?
Wow... confused now!

rotors excite me

There is probably a little bit of tolerance in the mounting locations for the brake master cylinder as well as the brake booster, that combined with potential tweaks to the unibody from years of use could all add up to that. Maybe, maybe not.
If it ever slips off you'll know it lol

F**K THE SYSTEM!!
Fast shipping and I already installed mine. Fits perfect on a reman. MC. The length of the adjustment screw was perfect on mine and was a easy fast install. Took me like 5 minutes due to the intercooler piping needing removal.
My car is a 1988 TII.
I have not done any spirited driving for true feed back though

Put mines in this past Saturday....pedal feels nice and firm, but this is the only brake system upgrade I have. I bet it will be even better with stainless lines and better rotors and pads. Mine fit just fine, same as the original picture provided by Zero. This is a nice addition to my car and a quality produce…….keep up the good work Sir!

I really wish I knew what to say. No one else has reported a problem, and all the other pictures look exactly as expected. These things do happen sometimes when dealing with older vehicles, but that doesn't make it suck any less. You are more then welcome to return it for a refund if you are unhappy. I will however continue to try to figure this out.

I can't imagine why mine is off by 1/2 inch. It can't be just the master; it does have to mount center on the booster. So we can only conclude the entire brake system is off.
