I have to disagree on that last statement ( I think ). Disk brakes are both better and easier to work on than any drums I've ever maintained, hands down.
BTW, I think you thumb is cramping or something. Try a real keyboard next time.

Holy cow just buy the GSL axle, if you can find one grannys speed shop sells a ford 8.8 inch rear end built just for rx7 it bolts right in and it has lsd with disc you can get it in 4 bolt 4x110 or the 5 lug 5x114.5(i think thats right its GSLSE patter)
check it out if you plan on adding power this it the way to go.

I think you missed the points here.
1. Keep the 4 x 110 rear axles and most of the rear end intact.
2 Keep the costs down yet upgrade to disk brakes.
Billy is supplying the missing links needed to do that at a very reasonable price
with the typical ReSpeed engineering and quality behind it.
Sure I can spend 2 grand with grannys but I could get another car for that
kind of dough.

Sure if your building a dyno queen, you have to drop $$$ to get to whatever level
your going for.
I'm all for keeping my car looking and feeling fairly stock but with some
modernizations as long as they don't ruin the stock look and feel. I'm not out
to rice it up or make it something its not. Its not a 1/4 mile eater, its not an all
out race car, its a classic jap sports car that I've owned for 27 years and I like
to drive it on a daily basis. I think your missing the whole point to this thread.

I already contacted billy and grant. I am doint the respeed big brake front with the turbo 2 parts, with the crossmember upgrade (and better steering ), Also getting the rear end from grannies to accommodate the same on the rear. Got my brakes here and in the process of rebuilding them. I done this on other cars and I can tell you it is worth it.
Oh, I been meaning to ask about brake lines, I think I will redo the entire car since I am upgrading MC as well.

I would be happy to share the CAD if you want to have some made, I even have a shop I work with that will laser cut them for a $60 minimum which would probably get you 2 sets. You would either have to machine the aluminum spacer behind the rotors yourself or find someone to do it, I have a dimensioned drawing for it.

Wow, this is still a thing? I had assumed because of the time since last updated it was an abandoned project. I'd be curious as well what calipers/rotors/etc that this uses (proportioning valve?), I may be interested in a set.
