Thumbs up Nothing but PRAISES for championadrien!

I recently had a dealing with Adrien that has restored much of my faith in on-line/long-distance transactions.
I made a deal with him for a used AWR/Ron Davis radiator he was selling in the FC parts section. It wasn't a "show piece" by any meens, and definitly showed it's age. But the price was unbeatable, and I'm handy at restoring just about anything that crosses my work bench. So I went for it knowing that I had some considerable "cosmetic" repairs to perform. My one explicit concern was that there were no issues regarding the core (i.e.- leaks, punctures, etc.) and he assured me there were none, as it was just removed from his car after 25k miles of trouble free service. Great!

~Fast-Forward~
I received the rad in a timely fashion and without incident during shipping. Even though he warned me the packaging was "kinda ghetto", it was still better then alot of parts I've received in the past.

~In the meen time~
All of his correspondences were very friendly, respectful, and intelligent.

So....I thanked him for being a great seller and mentioned I was planning on taking the radiator to a local rad shop for pressure testing....Just to give myself a base-line for starting the revamp. He thanked me for being a great buyer and said to let him know how the process goes, even though he believed the rad would check out fine.
Unfortunatly, it didn't. We pressured it up and dunked it in the tank, and....****....bubbles. There was a small split in between two core tubes at the bottom tank. Hardly visable unless viewed with magnifiers. And probably unnoticeable under normal opperating conditions. What's worse is the damage was in a place where it couldn't be reached with a TIG.
I got ahold of Adrien immediatly and explained the situation. Without so much as a hitch, he appologized profusely and immediatly offered to refund my money....no questions asked, no return necessary.
We aggreed that I would cover part of the initial shipping ($10), seeing as he already layed out more then anticipated on packaging and shipping costs. I had no problem with that, seeing as the rad is worth at least that in scrap aluminum.
The paypal refund took a handful of days to clear, because he no longer had the funds there. But as expected, the funds were in my account first thing this morning. Even in the refund notes he appologized for my setback and troubles, and thanked me again for being such a cool buyer.

~In The End~
I have no issues with buying from him again in the future. What could have been a nightmare of an experience ended up being smooth and pleasant.
Kudos to you Adrien!
