wont start

wont start

i have fuel getting to my injectors but not threw them. what needs to be changed or looked at? is a 86 rx7.

Make sure the ENGINE fuse in the interior is good.

If good, disconnect the solenoid resistor package and see if there is battery voltage at the center pin.

If that's good, check for 12vdc at each injector wire AT the ECU small plug.

It;s assumed you already looked at the fuses in the engine bay and they are good.

IF that is good check for less than 1 ohm at pins 2R, 3A, 3G on the ECU plugs. Disconenct the plugs and check those wires with the plug disconnected. Not the ECU jack.

It's assumed the cas is connected,

If you had a spare CAS you could put the elec plug on it and spin its gear with the key to ON and determine if the injectors are opening/closing by hearing the clicking of the injectors.

Or you could pull the spark plugs out of the lower holes and then crank the engine over fast. You should see or not see a mist of fuel coming out the holes.

Do not fall for the nonsense about the injectors need to be cleaned. Nonsense.
