Thumbs up Will an fd3s shifter fit an fc3s?

I am just wondering if an fd3s shifter could fit my 91 fc3s or will any other mazda car shifters fit my car? Any help would be appreciated.

I seem to remember a buddy bolting a stock FD shifter into his '89-91 FC back in the day. I wouldn't try a short shifter, though - that's more likely to have a major fit problem.

But, there's no good reason to swap out, stock for stock.
