I have decided to change my mind by switching from a planned megasquirt 1 v3 kit to a DCOE weber 45 side draft on my 88 6 port. I plan on pulling most of the engine harness, and hopefully gauges if possible if theyre controlled by the stock ecu. In order to eliminate the computer, can I use the stock cas to trigger the jacobs without the ecu or am i forced to switch over to a distributor. I'm sure I got this part understood but if I switch over to a distributor and go with a jacobs direct fire, just wondering if someone can show me how they have it wired up? I've done MSD installs hacked into efi setups before with aftermarket coils, but never standalone.
