Why are Atkins parts cheaper?

I am shopping for a rotor kit for my 6 port 13b, and i see that Atkins rebuild kit is much cheaper than Mazdatrix. I am not a bargain shopper, but just curious why so much cheaper? I know Mazdatrix sells oem stuff, does Atkins produce there own seals in house? I am not looking to debate which is better quality, there are many threads on that subject. I want to know if anyone has any insight on this.

Thank you.

You cant really start discussing price without also discussing quality

Because Atkins doesn't always sell genuine OEM parts, and I've read they charge out the wazoo for shipping.

Atkins definitely charges more for OEM parts than Mazda dealers. The parts that are listed cheaper than OEM parts carry the OEM part number but are in fact aftermarket - except they don't disclose that in the listing. However, they will tell you whether or not particular parts are genuine OEM if you specifically ask. Some OEM parts are only available from Atkins because they basically bought up all remaining US stock from the dealer network, meaning you have to buy off them so they can charge whatever they want. I have found this out with quite a few 1st gen parts.
