Shopping list for a rebuild
This is a shopping list for a rebuild that i got from my tuner
-Gasket set oem
-CArbon kit from rotary aviation
-Corner seal kit rotary aviation
-Side seal kit rotary aviation
-side seal spring kit rotary aviation
-oil pump oem. why do i need this?
-oil ring kit OEM
-Crankshaft bearing kit oem
-copper washer kit oem
please let me know what do you think of rotary aviation? i am missing something? where can i find these parts? how much $ for these parts?

First, you won't know what you need for a rebuild until you disassemble the motor, clean the parts and then inspect the wear. It's not as simple as "just replace all the seals and gaskets". Each part has minimum requirements. Each part will need to be measured for wear to determine if it can be reused (i.e. housings, rotor bearings, etc).
As for the parts list, just do yourself a favor and use a "kit". The "kit" will contain what you need as far as seals:

As far as the oil pump, they aren't that expensive. IMO, while you are there it makes sense to replace them however there are measurements to check to see if the original one can be reused. If you haven't yet, purchase the rebuild video BEFORE do you anything:

It covers all of this and should be viewed prior to disassembling a motor for the first time.

i am not the one rebuilding. my mechanic said to buy these parts instead of a kit cause i can get the best parts from each manufacturer. having a little trouble finding all the parts. i think that buying all these parts separately could cost me more than a kit.
who has the best master rebuild kit, atkins or rotary aviation? with this kit i have everything i need?masterkit costs more than $1,200?

A master kit from Atkins costs about $1,175 shipped. A master kit from Rotary aviation costs about the same if you upgrade to super seals and buy the spings from them. The atkins kit has a few extras such as an oil filter and some misc. gaskets that I don't think come with the RA kit.
Yes the master kits will include things that aren't listed on your list. One of the biggest things to consider when choosing between the two is the apex seals. RA seals are said to be the hardest, so they are the best if you run lean. But they are also the hardest on the housings and will fubar your turbo if one comes out.
The Atkins seals are the softest (even compared to OEM) and are the lest likely to score the housings or shred the turbo. But they are the least resilient to knock.
Also, I am just speaking from research. I am in the same position as you, planning my first rebuild and trying to figure what parts to use. If you budget allows everyone says to use OEM stuff. It's more expensive but that's probably because it's the best.
