basicly, if you change your oil and filter often, it won't matter what brand or non synthetic or synthetic you use. i use full synthenic and i change my oil every 3 weeks and i hardly drive my baby. only on weekends and on day off.

i use full synthetic (mobile 1) and change every 2000-2500 miles. all i know is when i push my car to the max i want it protected with the best. synthetic can handle more abuse than dyno juice. its also better for the turbo than d-juice. im no frekkin expert but most of the big time boys use Mobile 1. i use 15-50

I have been using regular old Castrol GTX 20W50 every 2000-2500 miles with good results. I also dump about a 1/4 quart in every 350-400 miles.

I'm going to switch to Mobil1 Synthetic 15w-50 my next change. I also want to try the Bosch oil filter. I've got 101K on my original engine in my '93.

Grimlock, why do you have a 3rd gen in your sig when you own a TII?

Castrol GTX 10w30. I'll probably switch to 20w50 due to the miles on my motor (186,000).

I was told synthetic oils in rotary engines are very bad , somthing like when you turn the car off the engine keeps spinning. I may be very wrong,But my frends RX7 is going into mazda on friday for evry fluid to get changed what oil is the best for a TT rotary engine?

also sorta off topic I also herd it is bad to use any spark plugs but mazda is this true?

Thanks

Ive always used synthetic blend, 10W-30 or 20W-50. Ive heard arguments both ways.
