What Apex seal to use?

On a side note i have been using ra classic seals for many many years and just about everyone in my town uses them also. We all have really good luck with them and never have had any issues. I have not tried the super seals (have no need to) as i have tested the RA classics on a high boost 6 port motor (20psi on only pump) i built back in the day and leaned it out to test the seals. With audible knocking it held strong so i have never had the need to try the super seals. I have ran 29 psi max on my current car on pump and H2o injection and runs great.

Hopefully we all can move pass our differences and work together (like the old days) to get this little engine to do more incredible things than what's being done now.

I've never heard of ALS/E&J seals breaking, even with severe detonation. I've only seen chattering on the housings and losing compression after 30k+ miles. I just recently put some in mine and I noticed it doesn't pull as much vacuum as it did with the OEM apex seals.
I have some brand new super seals and race springs for sale if you're interested. I'm never going to use them as I've parted ways from rotary. I paid full price but not selling at full price! One 13B set only!!
i agree , ive opened 3 engines with those seals and all 3 with very very bad chatter marks
So what you're saying is there No perfect seal, well that's lame. Am I asking for too much?lol are the chatter marks with the Als seals so bad that the housings can't be resurfaced?
EDIT: It would be nice if companies like ALS/E&J and Goopy could R&D their own premix which might be able to reduce the rapid wear we're seeing.
i only use super seals
I have over 10K miles on my engine with super seals. The car pulls great vacuum at idle and runs like a champ. I did not rebuild my engine, lucky 7 did with the owner before me. I am running 14-15lbs boost with the GT3574R turbo.
Speedjunkie rebuilt his engine with Goopy seals this time around with stock ports.
I am partial to the stock oem seals. 15U on this website rebuilt his engine with stock apex seals. I tuned his engine and we had basically no knock anywhere in his map. We pushed the tubros and ended up using 99% duty cycle (still rich) tune. Backed it off to about 85% max duty cycle for every day driving. He did a shake down in 100 degree+ pueblo heat at 5000 ft above sea level track, got the air temps up into the 80's C (against my advice) with the stock intercooler, and the car ran flawlessly. He obviously needs to upgrade the intercooler (like I advised) and he might upgrade his injectors and turbo in the future

Well I have an Adaptronic ecu and would like to try my hand at a little tuning on my car so I would like an apex seal that can take a more than 1 detonation, however I hope this feature of the seal is never needed. I do have some prior experience tuning a Subie with a Link G4 ecu many years back but I will definitely take it slow.
Whats the latest and greatest in the world or apex seals. I am rebuilding a 13BPP for road race application.
