Vacuum hose placement ?....please help!

Okay, so im putting my little hoe back together and I ran into a little snag. I've got one nipple with no hose on it!! Here is a pic of the nipple...anyone know what attaches to it? I cant figure it out from all the pics on the net or the shop manual. HELP!

Make sure that you did not connect another hose the the other end of that short pipe.

you can plug it, but you don't really need to

it's for automatics, and the end of should also be an open pipe

i feel you though, i couldn't stand it just not attaching to any hose when every other damn thing on the solenoid hack has hoses up the wazzo

There is another hose that has a cap that just hangs there. It too is for an automatic transmission.

If you have a problem with the open end there cap it. I don't think it makes any difference.
