Twin sequential randomly cuts out

Just got my car out of the shop, new harness, replaced a few things that needed it, dyno tuned, etc... full bolt ons, reliability mods and upgraded fuel system..

car drove home fine, sequential kicked on like it should.

Then today , maybe after 10 miles of city driving, I lost the primary, low rpm boost. I only heard the air rush through the pipes on the passenger side and it only maxed at 5 psi. I saw nothing under the hood as far as rats nest lines, etc that came off. So I neutral reved the hell out of it and I heard my blow off valve exhale loudly, so I put it in gear and my two turbos were boosting fine. Then at part throttle, it happened again. I gotta rev it up in freely everytime I lose the first turbo, then it kicks back in.

any ideas? My car was in the shop for a month, is like to figure it out without dropping it back off.

Based on principle, I would recommend NOT troubleshooting and taking it back. There was a thread like this not too long ago.

Honestly though, it just sounds like your bov is getting stuck and it just needs a little kick to unstick it when it sticks. =D

The fix is to replace it or just lube it up a little bit. I had the exact same problem with my type rs after hitting full boost occasionally. I disassembled it, cleaned it and lubed the parts, problem solved.... mostly. It still did it but it never got fully stuck open.

Yeah I think your right about the blow off valve. I just made a few city and hyway passes and it seems to have corrected itself.

But now at wide open throttle and above 5500 rpm, it's breaking up, popping out my tail pipe, sounds like a 2 step before launch at a drag strip.
I leave it in 3 rd gear and roll into it, I can hit 14psi at just over half throttle and it pulled good and doesn't break up, but full throttle, it breaks up just as it hits 13 or so every time. So that's a new issue.

I mean, the car was on the dyno 2 days straight , you'd think it would have had those issues then.

I've got maybe 60 miles on the car since I got it back.
They did tell me that the first turbo is not very efficient and that's why I'm looking into getting BNRs really quick. The car was down 40hp from what they typically see with my set up( only 293 rwhp) so maybe the turbo is starting to fail fast now, could that be causing the break up at WOT??

I had top end break up issues not that long ago. Mine was due for new spark plugs. I changed them out and have smooth acceleration all the way to red line.
