third gen switch?

I have a question, all though it is not time yet, i am preparing for the dreaded day. I have an 85 rx7 gslse and i was just wondering...the day my engine goes, it has like over 250k on it, should i put in a third gen engine, i have a friend that would do it for free, yes lucky me. Or should i buy a 95 whateva the best model, by the way what is the best model of the third gens?...I was just wondering. Also would it be a very signifigant power gain? i know its a dumb q, but i was lookn for ball park figures. And isnt a single turbo better than two because the two just couldnt pick up the lag or something like that? I heard a few peeps that have supras and some 3rx7 and switched to 1 turbo. Thanks for any help!

get a 3rd gen if you have the money, simple as that. there is a big debate about single turbo vs. sequential turbos setup, and personally the stock sequential setup is good enough for me.
