Tach question.

I bought a converted GSL-SE a couple of years ago and decided to put it on the road last week. The Tach reads twice what the actual RPM is. Does anyone here know what they do to fix this without going to a digital Conversion box for $100.

Thanks,
Jim in PA

I'dont, I just remember reading that the signal from the coil will be give a reading of 2times actual on the stock tach, maybe it is half..never tried. but never the less it is off. The shop that sells the v8 swap kit also re-cals the tach, but I would like to try this myself.
