SX Fuel pressure regulator - vacuum source?

I'm putting in an SX FPR and custom secondary fuel rail into my FD. The new fuel rail eliminates the stock fuel pressure reguator. My question is should I use the stock fuel pressure regulator solenoid valve to run vacuum to the SX regulator, or should I just run straight manifold vacuum to it? I'm gonne be running a power fc and single turbo. What do you guys think?
