OK, I have a question about seperating the oil cooler lines. I have removed the retaining clip,........now what. I don't want to force anything so, sombody pleaser explain to me how to seperate the hard line from the soft line. Do they just pull apart? Or do I need to loosen the large nut next to the retaining clip? I have looked throught the shop manual and watched the video and neither tells how to seperate it?

 

Yeah they just pull apart. Mine were commpressed together by the way every thing was mounted, so dont be afraid to use a little muscle. Just try to pull them straight apart, don't bend. The oil cooler part goes in about 1 inch.
