Stupid newbie question....Help
 

OK, I have a question about seperating the oil cooler lines. I have removed the retaining clip,........now what. I don't want to force anything so, sombody pleaser explain to me how to seperate the hard line from the soft line. Do they just pull apart? Or do I need to loosen the large nut next to the retaining clip? I have looked throught the shop manual and watched the video and neither tells how to seperate it?:confused:

Yeah they just pull apart. Mine were commpressed together by the way every thing was mounted, so dont be afraid to use a little muscle. Just try to pull them straight apart, don't bend. The oil cooler part goes in about 1 inch.
