I have a 90 gtu. About a week ago it started to bog at 6k and up it also sorta back fires at the same time like its missing. I put fuel filter, pump, and spark plugs in. The car sat for about a week while i was wating for the pump to get here. I put it in today and the car drove great all day but now its doing it again the same way as before. ANY help would be great thanks

 

Check the ground points for the ECU, they are under the Intake on the motor, this could cause a problem with the injectors.

 

sweet i will check as soon as there is light out thank you. Any more ideas would be great.

 

ok checked the grounds and nothing. Is it posible that the fuel pump is bad. The car was doing this befor then the pump went out. Put the new pump in (ebay 255 lph) $$$$$$ And it ran fine the hole day then started again.

 

Run a compression test, fuel flow test and provide more specific details. Then maybe we cn get to the bottom of this.

 

Well got to the bottom of it. It was the maf If you touch the stupid thing it runs dif every time. Now the car staggers with light throttle. The maf is on the way hope it fixes also now the cel is on and its pulling code 11.

 

Well put the maf on and it still staggers at a light throttle. Im stumped
