About the car : 93 Rx7- street ported, Pettit unlimited ECU. Stock injectors, #9 spark plugs leading and trailing.

The car ran great until I made these modifications. Block off all emission contrails with plates from Banzai (great people to buy from by the way), Pettit downpipe, Pettit resonated mid pipe and restrictor plate in between the mid pipe and cat back.

Now of course I expected the car to run a little differently without emissions crap and the air pump gone (replaced with pineapple racing pulley). It was idling too low and stalling so I adjusted it up to 1500 rpm to be safe.

The problem- as soon as I boost, the car lags hard and there is practically no power whatsoever. It feels similar to when I needed spark plugs but much much worse.

Anybody have issues like this before? How did you solve it?
