Starting Problems

I have a single turbo, PFC on a 94 that has been giving me problems for quite some time. I'm having trouble starting it. When I do get it started it runs like ****. It feels like it's running to rich and it won't go below 1700 rpms. If it does I can't get it started again. I was wondering if there some sensor that the computer is reading that might be out of wack that it's make it hard to start and to run rich. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.
