Question Starting problem very confused

For the past couple weeks when ever i start my car i notice that it is a little rough, and then yesturday i went out, and when i was going to leave the car wouldn't start but it sounded like starter was done because when i turned the key it would make that grinding noise that your engine would make when it was already running and you turned the key again after that it would make a winding down noise so at this point i very confused. I believe its the starter if so how much does that cost generally?

It sounds like your are right the starter went out. You can pick up starters on ebay all day long, or check your local junk yards, I wouldnt think you would pay more than $50 at the most for a good used one. But I'm sure some of the gurus on here can help you find a new one if that is what you are loking for.
