NewBie Question

I originally came here from another board that linked the sleuthing skills of GotBoosted, great story about that by the way... but since looking at some of your members cars, I have become interested in RX-7s, basically all I know about them is they are rotary engines and they dont make them anymore, and havent for a while. Im in the market for a new car and these cars seem to be something Im interested in. First thing is, how many miles is okay to have on these cars, since I will be buying it used? Hows the insurance payments? How much would you guys pay for a 73,000 mile car with twin turbos, single turbo, etc... Thanks for all the help.

If you can get a 2nd gen with only that many miles on it it would be a pretty good deal. As far as I know the average life of a rotary is around 100k to 125k. My 86 has 204K on the car and on its 3rd motor which only has like 25k on it. As far as insurance goes that depend son you age, driving record etc..... Good luck on your search for a rex.
