Under hard acceleration, my 3rd generation rx-7 lets out a squeal from what sounds like the turbos, its loud enough to hear easily. Any ideas what this might be? This just started up a couple months ago, I never heard it before and never heard it on my first rx-7, so I don't think its just turbo whine.

I'm hoping its just an easy to replace cracked hose or something, but I'm worried it could be the turbos having trouble.

the turbos dont sqeal. what you could have is the sepertine belt is loose or time to replace

 

My 86 n/a used to do that. The alternator belt was loose due to a missing bolt. I would say it's one of the belts. Check the tension and tighten all of the loose ones.
