It's a 74-75 style 12a. It was used in the US in RX-2's and Rx-3's.

is the motor worth me trying to rebuild it? (the front rotor/housing is gone, and the rear has minimal chrome off of it)

from what i have been told the older 12a's are not worth much unless its for someone whos doing a all original restoration. i am about to pick up a 72? 12a with a supposed riduculous low miles, stored since the mid 70's for $100.
