Smoking in the morning normal on my SE
The last couple of mornings as I start my SE (after sitting all night) it has been smoking a lot upon start up thens go's away after about 30-60 seconds. I smelt the smoke and it smells rich like gas. Couldn't tell if there was any antifreeze in it. Any ideas? Am I in need of a rebuild?
Thank You

My 89 T2 was doing up to the point where I tore it down. I however found out that the turbo had a bad center housing when I got it and it was mixing coolant and antifreeze, smoking ALOT out of the exhaust for a good 1.5 min. I have the engine torn down right now and I see nothing wrong with the water seals and no antifreeze damage.
No idea where you live but unless you live somewhere where its hot outside something to to remember is that its the middle of winter.... condensation in your exhaust will create steam when heated.
