This is my first turbo car but I have a question on slow acceleration from a stop. I have a 94 RX7 and a few mods just rebuilt 2,000 miles ago bit it seems it has slow acceleration from a complete stop until the first turbo kicks in at around 2200 rpm's. Is this normal?

 

what are the "few mods"?
have you done basics like double-checking the ignition wires, coils, vacuum, etc?
is it performing right after the turbos come online?
