Should I get this fd
My best friend is selling his 100% stock fd (1994) to me for 1000 dollars , apex seals are bad
I've never had a rotary nor have I ever rebuilt one but I'd say I know a pretty good amount about them , I'm kinda wanting to challenge my self
I've been a mechanic for about 6 years now so I'm mechanically inclined but I'm not sure if I want to go through with it
Is it worth it ? What's the difficulty level for someone whose never done it ? Is the Atkins rotary master rebuild kit going to cover everything I need ? (Can I do a full bridgeport while Its apart and will I need to tune it if I do the bridgeport ?)
I would like to use it as a every other day-daily driver , nothing too insane
But later on i would like to do a single turbo conversion
Some people have been putting me down some people have been pushing me to get it , I just don't want it to turn in the a serious money pit
Any advice will help greatly thanks

^^^^^^^^^ what Kansas said how is this even a question? $1000 ? Buy it and don't look back. If you don't buy it you can always let me know where it is at and I will go buy.
j/k but seriously even with a bad engine or even bad drive train for that matter $1000 is a steal.

Even if you've got $1k, what's your budget to put into it on top of that? You're looking at least $3k for a build and it goes up from there depending on what condition it's in and what you want to do with it. That said, if the body and interior are fairly decent, $1k is a very good price. You may want to reach out to Angel Motorsports (Home) for help.

Don't do it! It's stolen!! JK man. You should definitely get it. If anything, you can resell it for 5k as a clean shell.
However, it is going to be a money pit if you truly become a rotary lover.
