Secondary injector QUesTION!!!!!help asap
Quick question:
Do the secondary injectors tick during idle?
I have fuel pouring out of my DP and I believe that the secondary injectors are staying open do to a short in my wiring. I put a screw driver on top of each the secondary injectors and no ticking was evident. The primary injectors had a nice rhythem "tick tick tick....."

How long has the engine been installed or when was the last time you have disconnected some of the wiring in the engine bay? It is very possible you have the fuel temp and coolant temp sensors backwards. On cold mornings the car will smoke horribly and dump fuel if you have these switched.
If the wires arent crossed remove the two 12mm headed bolts that hold the secondary fuel rail to the LIM and lift up on the rail. You should have enough slack to lift them up were they are no longer inside the LIM. Simply connect the the GND and F/P terminals in teh diagnostic box behind teh possitive battery connection. Use a paper clip or short piece of wire to connect the two together. Turn your key to the on position(without starting the car). This will trigger the fuel pump and pressurizing the fuel system. If your injectors are leaking you will notice it pretty easily. If your car is still stock then good luck If it is emissions deleted car than it wont be so bad.

that could very well be the answer to all my problems.
Background:
The engine just rebuilt with 3mm apex seals, streetport, exhuast port matched, oil modified, new rear housing, and matched rotors. It currrently has a greddy 78 turbo kit with and apex PFC.
The harness:
Looked horrible when I got the car. Wires where just cliped and tucked away. The engine was already out the car when I first purchased it, so none of the wiring was hooked up. I have deleted unnecessary wiring from the harness to make it cleaner. Car now has no emissions and all solenoid wiring has been taken out. I have gone thru the schematics and have determined what was needed to make this engine run. Car runs but the smoke is still there.
Update as of 2/1/08:
I redid/cleaned and identified each connector that need to be plugged in. I will go in the garage and see what happens.
I'll keep you guys updated.

Well.......
Car starts with no problems but the with fog of death is still there. I been reading possiblities and i'm starting to think that i have a crankcase problem. its kinda like pressuring the engine and oil is coming out of my exhuast and causing a with fog. i dont have a clue yet on how I will start trouble shooting tomorrow.
Right now the oil filler neck port is capped
The one on the bottom is open to atmosphere
PCV is no longer in use.
and all vaccum ports are capped that need to be capped.
Guide me in the right direction.

Today I pulled the fuel rail off and checked the injectors to see If they where leaking. I jumped FP and GND on the dianosis box and turn the key over. This starts the fuel pump with out starting the car.
Well good news. Just like I expected. one of the 550 injectors is leaking like a water hose. This is why I have fuel coming out of my DP and exhaust. Hopefully this is also the reason for the white smoke.

Lives on the Forum
Unfortunately they are not available in the aftermarket or anywhere that i know of. I have them for the secondary, but primary is different. Just get a used set of primary injectors that are good. the primary can usually be found very cheap.
