Exclamation s4 chassis to s5 ecu wiring adaptation

Hey,
I just recently found out that my s5 engine doesnt match up with the s4 chassis wiring.
is there and shortcut to adapting the wiring, like some sort of clip? probably not enough people need it though for anyone to make one. it was also an NA chassis, my engine is a TII. I also tried the search function and couldn't find anything. I have everything else in line, a TII driveshaft and s5 transmission and the s5 engine wiring harness. the right counterweight and flywheel, I just don't know what to do with this wiring. any help would be greatly appreciated, I am really tired now so if this post seems out of order and "long winded" sorry, I also am trying to get this thing running before snow starts coming down. Thanks in advance.

I read this, it hasn't helped with what I need though. It is a VERY great site though, just sort of complicates things more because I don't have the option of using s4 "smart" parts. I am attacking this today and all weeknights plus next weekend. if there are any experts in the area that could help, I don't have much to offer as far as money goes, I can offer beer and food though. haha
or just a decent walkthrough is good too, I have wiring diagrams and the proper tools.

..I'll try to answer.
I put an S5 TII into my S4 N/A.
I used the S4 N/A harness.I used the S4 lower and upper manifolds, and the S4 TII Throttle body and TPS. S4 TII injectors,S5 Turbo and manifold.
Your Problem is that you would have to change Injector connectors to mate it with the s5 Injectors(so just go aftertmarket Square connector Injectors like RC 750's)
the Senders are pretty well there to Connect to.
the TPS wiring needs to be Extended to go to the TPS from the wiring harness.(by about 8 inches).
I put on New Injector connectors and lengthened the wires so I wouldn't have to fart around with them.(here is your chance to Change the connectors,or whatever you desire). www.kgparts.com for them@6.50 a piece.
You need to Cut a Wire on the Ecu Wiring harness AT the Connector.it is For the Power steering..it is so when you Turn your power steering it doesn't Retard timing by 15 Degrees.
.That is because the wire would normally go to the Knock sensor on a TII..But since you are using an N/A harness it is not routed there..no Knock sensor on an n/a.(Cut the Wire/tape it..I think YELLOW/GREEN stripe...Please Check for posts by HAILERS for Confirmation on color)
the Knock sensor on the TII engine is not going to be used.
Now..this IS the EASY way to put the engine in.IF you use any other harness, you are gonna have to Cut and rewire ****..
the N/A harness is pretty well suited for what you have in mind..
so there ya go.,.Good Luck.STYX!~

ah, thank you I had just about given up hope. if I use the s4 n/a wiring harness, then that means I have a TII harness in perfect condition up for grabs(maybe, unless I feel like doing things the hard way) it also means I dont have to struggle pulling the NA one out. this sounds like a decent way to go, I am not sure cutting and rewiring would be an issue seeing as I have a good friend who is an electrician and good at this to help me. I just have no s4 parts that are engine related in this car. what about the ECU? I need to use the s5 TII one right? if not I still have the s4 n/a. I only have the throttle line as well, is this way still doable even though I am using EVERYTHING off of the TII. sensors and all. also had a question about the tacho, seeing as it has 1000 rpms less than the s5, how does that work? is the redline still in the same spot? this is a jumbled up message because I am in a hurry. thank you so much for your help and giving me a start in the right direction, I was about to pull out the s4 harness today and put the TII in. ha
