rx8 maintainence 60K

Hey guys. My buddy asked me to help him service his rx8 with 60,000 miles on it. I havent seen his service records and recomended service, but I am wondering if anyone here had any experience serivicing this car?

Those spark plugs cost a gang, does anyone have an alternate part # that would b jsut as good or better? Its mainly a Dailey driver car, but he does take his car to the road course every now and then. He took it maybe 3 times last year. Stock plugs?

What else is probably on the service? Fuel filter, transmission fluid, diff?

As dvs71990 said, anything that will help prolong the life of the motor.

If it was your car and you were doing the 60k maintenance, what would you change?

I'd go for all the fluids, belts, and re-lube everything.

Always better to be safe than sorry.

That's all you have to do is look in his owners manual and it will state what the 60k service is. :-)

SOLD! JK LOL

Its my buddies car and he doesnt know very much about cars. Im going to take a look at it today and see how everything looks, and check the service manual.

Im curious because he went to the dealer and quoted his $250 for the service. Im sorta of wondering what they were going to do on his car.
