RX7 Glossary?
Hey, I'm new to the RX7 world, I've been interested in them for a few years, but didn't really even consider one until recently. I've been seeing a lot of abbreviations on the board such as FC and FD and a few others that I assume pertain to rotary engines...I've got a pretty solid knowledge of automotives, but almost nothing relating to rotarys. I'm on a pretty tight budget so I'm considering trying to find a 3rd gen rx7 in a scrap yard for cheap and bring it back to life. It would be a project car and probably wouldn't even run for abother 10 years, but I think it'd be fun..Any references to some basic knowlege on RX's or just rotary engines in general would he appreciated. Thanks!

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
If you're on a tight budget, don't get a 3rd gen. Get a 2nd gen.
Also, go to the 2nd gen section and read the stickies. There's a list of commonly used acronyms in one of them.

Thanks. I'm really only on a tight budget initially (now). I want to find a car for cheap (under 10g) and eventually, when I find a decent job, I'll be able to afford it more.

Well 10 is pushing it quite a bit...That would be one hell of a stretch. I'm hoping more for around 2, but I doubt I'll find anything that cheap without any major rust.
