rx7 gen3 engine

hello to all
Here is my question,i have a rx7 gen 3,which has been standing in the garage for 3 years, without being started or turned over,(due to health problems).
now the big question is what do i have to do to get her running again,is there any specific procedure i have to follow that wont do the engine damage,i know the oil will have to be changed, filters, and new fuel.
i know the trick for reconnecting the battery, resetting the ecu.but is there any thing you would recommend or know that must be done before i crank it over.

any info will be greatfully accepted.
thank you all

Broon,
I think I would remove the leading plugs and squirt some oil in the housing, something like Marvel Mystery Oil. Then rotate the front pulley bolt with a ratchet. That way you can feel for a lock or any excess drag.

Does England have Techron fuel system cleaner? Drain the fuel tank and add a pint to 5 gal. of fresh fuel. Get that flowing in the fuel system by energizing the electric pump. No need to start it yet, let it soak for a few days.

Then crank it over with the leading sparkplugs out but connected to check for spark while cranking.

If everything looks OK then try a start-up.

Good Luck,
Barry
