Rx7 Clutch line

so i have an 88 rx7 that i just got and it needed some parts. i bought a new clutch slave but every flange fitting i run to it will not seal (almost like there not long enough) ive gotten the longest that the parts store has. i know the original is a rubber line.
so my question is do these seal with an o-ring or do i just need a deeper flange fitting on my hardline?

something doesn't seem right with what you're saying. are you sure you got the correct slave? do you have photos?

Not quite sure what type of fitting you are trying to attach to the slave, but we have SS braided lines with the correct fittings SS Clutch Lines (86-91 RX-7)

i was trying to get away with a hard line and a standard fitting where you make a double flange to get your seal (like in brake systems) but it looks like I'm going to have to just buy the flex hose/ ss line.
