Is this rotor useable? *pics*

Im rebuilding and porting my friends s4 13bt that blew the corner off an apex seal. The rear rotor housing was scratched and not useable, I doubt this rotor is either, but wanted to get some more opinions.

Here are some pics of the porting I did, just a mild street port (rb template).

And the exhaust (rb template +a little of my own):

The rotor looks OK as long as you smooth down that bur where it looks like something hit it on the top right hand side of the picture. I'd smooth that out and as long as none of the grooves are damaged, it should be good.

that is a mild street port, but the porting itself looks pretty good. I cannot tell from the pics, but did you bevel the top edge of the exhaust port? and I would bevel the tops of the intakes a bit more too. Seal crashing is not fun.

More over, I would have ported the exhausts up a little bit, I usually port the entire shape of the exhaust sleeve, on the top, keeping it straight at the top, and bottom.. I also widen the bottom to create what I call a shelf. I have some pics of the TII engine I ported a couple weeks ago, If I can find them, I'll post them.

you can gently file that groove a bit, I have a small metal finger nail file in my engine build kit.
IT used to say "Revlon"... now just "Rev"

IF you need another rotor to replace it, I am sure there are many out there sitting on shelves.
I prolly have about 5 of them now.

Maybe it is hard to tell from the pics, but the intakes and exhaust are both beveled quite alot. (especially where the side seal will be) I could do a slight bit more on the exhaust ports, but this is the kids daily driver and I already took off enough material to make him a bit nervous.

Would you be interested in selling one of the rotors that you have?
