Rotor Question

Once i have the rotors out of my engine, what is the best thing to use to clean the rotors?

you want to soak the rotors in some cleaning solution for a while to break off the carbon. Becareful not to damage the rotor surface.

What type of cleaning solution? I am trying to make displays out of a couple 12a's that a friend an i have..also how can you clean the housings?

some carb cleaner or kerosene(highly flammable, be careful).
as for the housings just spray it with degreaser, hose off with pressure.

I got all the carbon off my rotors with paint thinner (mineral spirits $1 a gallon).

vinegar and salt will clean the dirty off of anything
